About Me

Photography has been a hobby and passion of mine for the past 12 years.  It started when I lived in the remote Selkirk mountains of British Columbia, with just a point and shoot camera.  Later, on a friend's wedding day, I started taking photographs when she announced she hadn't arranged a photograher!  I helped out at other friends weddings as a "2nd" photographer, and was hooked.

Over the years I have completed a half dozen photography course's at Georgian College, including their wedding course.  I have provided  photography services for weddings over the last few years.  I believe it is a privilege to be with a bride and groom on such a personal and important day.  Making them feel relaxed and comfortable is top priority and the start to capturing great memories.

I love the outdoors, hiking and camping.  Travel is always on my list, I've been to 12 countries so far, with 3 more in the works.  I enjoy scrapbooking, which gives me something to do with all my photographs.  In addition to photography, I'm fortunate to have two other jobs that I love.   I work at our local school board as a supply secretary and library tech, and I work up to 50 feet in Muskoka pine trees as an aerial guide.

Muskoka

Muskoka is simply beautiful.  Cottages and resorts, waterfalls, natural pink granite, the endless lakes, breathtaking views and those autumn colours...

Any one of these qualities in cottage country make for a great backdrop, no matter the time of year.

Planning an outdoor wedding or family get together?  At the cottage, a resort or maybe even in Algonquin Park, my love of the outdoors and photography experience will fit right in.
